General Information
Our Trimite program plays modified softball games where the coaches pitch to the players.
Coaches instruct the players while they are batting and fielding in order to aid their skill development. More advanced players may be asked to participate with a select team that plays additional games against other centres.
Teams will be limited to 9-11 players to minimize idle time for the young players. Teams will require 2 coaches and several parent helpers during warm-ups and practices. Grandparents or older siblings are more than welcome to get involved too.
Trimite plays on Thursdays from May 12th to July 28th. Warm-up begins at 6:30, game at 7:05 pm in Ayr at Victoria Park (and Piper’s Glen if required). Practices are on Saturday mornings May 7th to July 23rd at Victoria Park, time TBD. Meet the Coach night is May 5th.
Spring Training dates are Saturday April 9th, Sunday April 17th and Saturday April 23rd. All sessions will be at 12 pm at the Ayr Community Centre (Old Arena).

Equipment Requirements: running shoes, batting helmet with NO cage, glove Helmets without cages are required when batting and may be worn for safety while fielding at the parent’s’ discretion. Team shirts and hats will be provided.
