The softball season (and warmer weather) will be here soon. Ayr Minor Softball will be continuing to register players for all age groups until April 18th.  Registration forms can be downloaded and filled in before printing, or you can download and fill out a hard copy by hand.

We will be accepting registrations at the April 11th and April 18th Spring Training sessions at the Ayr Community Centre (old arena) from 9am to 12pm.  Please email us to let us know you are interested in registering so that we can include you on our Spring Training email list.

Please feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone you think might be interested in playing softball this summer.  It is never too late to start playing ball!  It is our goal to develop fun leagues for all age groups so that all kids will have an opportunity to enjoy the sport of softball, regardless of skill level.

2007, 2008, 2009      Trimite               Thursday      6:30-8:00 pm Practice Saturday AM

2005, 2006, 2007       U10                  Tuesday       6:30-8:15 pm Practice Saturday AM 

2003 & 2004             U12                   Wednesday   6:30-8:30 pm Practice Saturday AM 

2000, 2001, 2002       U14(15)             Monday        6:30-8:30 pm Practice TBD 

1998, 1999, 2000       U16(17)             Rep Teams  - Games are Tuesday and Friday, Practices TBD

Select Team Game Dates for all age groups TBD

The registration fee includes a team t-shirt.  Players will be required to have their own glove and batting helmet.  Helmet cages will be required for the helmets all players in U10 and older.

NEW THIS YEAR:  All players in leagues below U16 will participate in the Local League for their age group.  For those seeking more competitive play, there is a “select” team option with try outs in April/May for each age group.  Those selected will play in the South Oxford Softball League.
