Last year was the ND Sports Camp's first year in providing a multisport recreation summer camp.  After the success of the camp and incorporating comments from parents, counselors, and dedicated Ayr community residents, we are offering the camp again this year with a two program component: a young group program for ages 5-10 and a separate youth program for ages 11-15.

Our Goal

The purpose of the program is to provide the Youth of Ayr and North Dumfries (ages 5-15) the opportunity for a local, and professional option for summer activities at a fantastic facility (North Dumfries Community Centre and other local venues).

Benefits of a Multisport Program

The benefits of a Multisport program besides the obvious benefits of keeping our youth active in a well supervised and professional atmosphere, are the benefits of muscle movement and motor skill enhancement by participating in a number of different activities. The other end of the spectrum is the social benefits by the participants. They get to try new sports and activities, the have the opportunity to develop relationships with new friends, and improve self esteem and gain new confidence in themselves. And most importantly a great opportunity to have FUN!
