Will McRuer was at his best in the circle as he put the Brewers down in order several times. With the game scoreless in the fifth it was Patrick Allison who broke it open by crushing a ball to the deep center field fence for a solo homerun. Ayr added another in the 6th on a sacrifice fly for a 2-0 lead. Will and his defense quickly closed out the 7th for the championship.
